To report a dead deer along a Peters Township maintained road or on your property (M-F, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.), please call the Peters Township Municipal Building at 724-941-4180 or fill out a PT4me! request. Animal Control will typically pick up called in deer within 24 to 48 hours from notification. If reporting a dead deer after 4:30 pm on Friday, or Saturday, or Sunday, and need removal during the weekend, please call 911 to arrange pickup.
To report a dead deer along a State (PennDOT) maintained road in Peters Township (Washington County), call PennDOT at 1-800-FIX-ROAD. PennDOT has up to 72 hours to remove the deer from the Peters Township roadway.
