Library Assistant
The Peters Township Public Library is seeking an individual for the position of Library Assistant. Duties include checking books in and out, assisting patrons with computers and other technology, answering the phone, and other clerical work. Duties will be performed at both the Circulation Desk and the Reference Desk. The individual will have a high school diploma or equivalent and customer service experience.
This position guarantees one regularly scheduled evening shift per week, with 5 to 12 additional hours per week as necessary based on scheduling needs and staff vacations. Evening and weekend availability is required. Candidates with scheduling flexibility are preferred. Hourly rate is $12.50.
